# Purpose
The AIS Contributor Portal is a centralized system that will allow officers to 
- assign tasks
- publish furure intstruction
- collect contributor feedback

#   Why We (AIS) Need This
#   AIS will continue to experience influxes of students each semester. 
#   Without a structured system:
#   - tasks can be unorganized
#   - generalized progress will be difficult to  track
#   - contributors will lack clarity on operations
#   - faculty cannot easily monitor activity

#   VPS Hosting Requirement
#   In order to reliably operate and support real-time functionality while developing, the #   portal requires VPS hosting for:
#   - 24/7 accessibility
#   - secure database storage
#   - multi-user load handling
#   - real-time updates
#   - infrastructure support
